Slim

SLIM started diving at the age of 8, and acquired his AOW at the age of 12 back in 1979. He has dove in many places in his life from salt water to fresh water. In his time he has seen many new advancements in SCUBA gear and in training. He works full time as a Emergency Medical Technician for the last 8 years and a FireFighter for 15 years. In addition to being a Deputy Sheriff, he is a Underwater Investigator, has many certificates in Fire Fighting, Law Enforcement. Slim is known to have just a few dives each year ( about 175-200). He is currently expanding his knowledge in SCUBA, remembering when all the specialties were part of his AOW. In the summer on his days off from the Ambulance he can be found at the State Park Marina/Dive Shop at Table Rock Lake in Branson, Missouri. Slim works as a Dive Con Specialist, giving tours, or as a Capt. of the boat. In the winter times he does many salvage and cable jobs around the docks and for others. One of his greatest sayings is "The Best Dive I Have Ever Done Is The One I Just Did And The Worst One Is the One I Did Not Get To Do" Slim says,"I feel fortunate to get to dive for at any time an accident can happen anywhere and I may never get to dive again, I try to treat each dive as my last. I Feel fortunate to grow up in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri and learn a great deal of its history and have a great lake so close at my disposal. I have even been known to do covert Christmas Tree Dives in other states. I can be found diving anywhere there is water, trust me even some of the cesspools that I have been in are not that bad, your gear just stinks afterwards. Give me a call, lets go diving."
